Here I will be giving a honest rating of a Sims 4 pack based on my own thoughts. Before I begin I will mention that this is a review of DLC for a game that is created by Maxis and published by EA. I did not create the images contained in this post, I merely took a screenshot of Sims 4 gameplay for entertainment purposes. We will take the post down if it is requested by the original owner.
This expansion pack is pretty straightforward, you add cats and dogs to your game. This pack was the first pack I got with the game and I feel that it should be the first pack that everyone else gets. It adds pets, furniture, cosmetics, and even aspirations. Currently one of my sim’s aspirations is “Friend Of The Animals” in which the goal to complete it is to be friends and companions with many animals. It’s quite interesting to watch the pets go around, play with each other, play with sims, and even meow at other sims while they are trying to sleep just like my real cats.
I love watching all the cats interact with each other while my other sims are working, it’s very entertaining to watch them. Currently, I chose a prebuilt house in the new world that comes with the house, and in that world there are cats and dogs that roam all around. It even has this boardwalk where both cats and dogs can roam and play around with each other, honestly it is one of my favourite places in the game. I love bringing my pets to this area and letting them roam.
I only have one thing that I dislike about this pack and it’s the fact that you can’t control the pets in the regular game, I always use a mod to fix this though. I feel that this should be a main feature in the pack, it’s fun to be able to control a cat while everyone else is at work.
