Bricks

Let’s get started with getting some bricks, simply press B to open the brick catalog and select from the wide range of bricks. If you accidentally select a brick that you don’t like, you can simply right-click on it and it will remove that brick from the list.


Building

After you’ve gotten your bricks it’s time to get to building. To get started press x to open your hammer and then press the number of the brick you want.

Building on brickadia is easy to get a hang of, it’s easy to place as all you have to do is left-click or press numpad enter.

You can also place bricks in a different sized grid, to start press numpad -. This can make it easier to add more detail.

For more accuracy, you can go into detached mode by pressing right-click. To move it forward simply press numpad 8. To Move it backwards press numpad 2. To move it left or right press numpad 4 and numpad 6. To move it up and down press numpad + and numpad 5.

There is also a function called orbit mode and to activate it simply press o. The controls for it are about the same as detached mode except to move up and down you press space and shift.

You can even place bricks in a row, just hold place and move your mouse. This also works in detached and orbit move, just hold place and use the move keys.

And a major function you can’t forget is rotating the bricks by pressing r or ctrl r.

Something you can’t forget is changing the orientation. Sometimes you need bricks in a different orientation like ramps and micro-wedges. To do this just press numpad /.


Painting

Painting is an important part of building in brickadia, to get started press e. To move through the selections, press e again or press ctrl and then use the mouse wheel. To move up and down just use the mouse wheel without ctrl. To change materials, simply press ctrl e.

Finally, if you make a mistake just pull out the hammer by pressing x and left-clicking on the bricks you want to remove.
