Sims 4 is one of my favourite games, but a lot of times it needs some mods to add some more activities to do in the game or even optimize the game. Here I will show my most favourite mods for this game. Before I begin I will mention that this is a review of mods for a game that is created by Maxis and published by EA. I did not create the images contained in this post, I merely took a screenshot of Sims 4 gameplay for entertainment purposes. We will take the post down if it is requested by the original owner. For certain reasons I will not post download links to the mods.
Playable Pets Mod
Now the first mod I will discuss is the Playable Pets Mod, this mod is the first mod I download every time I have to redownload the Sims 4. Please note that this mode is for the Cats and Dogs expansion pack. I feel that this should’ve been a base feature in the game as it allows you to play as your pets like in the Sims 3. I feel that this should be the first mod that you choose to play with.
SimCity Loans 2.0 Mod
Now for the second mod I recommend the loan mod, it allows you to gain a loan and pay it off overtime like in real life. I like this one because you can gain a loan for stuff you want and pay it off over time. I feel this adds a bit of realism to the game, I used it to buy an in-game house and you can even choose how many payments you want to do to pay it off. I highly recommend having this mod in your game, I feel it should be a necessity when playing. Although there is a chance that it could be abused like an in-game cheat for money.
Extreme Violence Mod
Now this is a mod that would be great for those people who like to kill other sims but don’t like the traditional ways of doing it. With this mod you can shoot sims, blow sims up, piledrive sims, stab sims, and more. I recently had an issue with a neighbor that wouldn’t stop annoying me, kept peeping into my house, so I used this to remove that sim. Now, this mod is not for people who dislike gore or excessive violence. I admit, this mod is a bit too much for me but when you have a sim you don’t like and want some realism in the deletion, then this is the mod for you.
Bank and Credit Mod
Now this mod adds a bit of realism like the SimCity Loans 2.0 Mod. It allows you to have a bank to keep your money in and a credit card system. Like the Loans mod you can pay for things you can’t afford and pay it off over time. As far as I know, the best way to get started is to head onto your sims computer and press more options. I highly recommend this mod if your looking for a system that kind of replicates real life systems.
Teleport Any Sim Mod
If you want to be able to teleport your sims around the game, this is a great mod. To get the teleport statue, search for Sim Teleporter when in the buy mode. You can also summon other sims that you have met along your journey. It’s a bit of a simple mod, but it’s fun to play around with. When using just remember what I previously said to search for, otherwise it won’t work.
